Joseph White

Joseph David White, 57, of Texico, passed away on May 20, 2024, at his home.
He was born August 30, 1966, in Fort Madison, Iowa, the son of Joseph Anthony White and Darlene Mae (Stevens) Wirt. On September 7, 1991, he married Tina Marie Diercks, and she survives.
Mr. White served in the United States Army, and graduated from Southeast Community College, in Burlington, Iowa, and Western University in Macomb, Illinois, earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing and Supply Chain Management. He was self-employed, and ran his own business, with his wife, for more than 12 years. He enjoyed boating and being outdoors, and loved spending time with his family. He was opinionated, passionate, and selfless, and was a loving husband and father.
In addition to his wife, Tina Marie White of Texico; he is survived by two sons, Joseph Samuel White of Mt. Vernon, and Joshua Nathaniel White of Texico; mother, Darlene Mae Wirt of Burlington, Iowa; three sisters, Martha Martin and husband Jack of Burlington, Iowa, Angela Nixon of Statesville, North Carolina, and Marilyn Hatley and husband Mike, also of Statesville, North Carolina; and three nephews, Eric, Brady, and Steven.
He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Anthony White.
In accordance with Mr. White’s wishes, cremation rites have been accorded, and no public services will be held. Memorial gifts may be made to the family of Mr. White, in care of his wife Tina, and will be accepted by mail to the Osborn Funeral Home, P.O. Box 130, Dix, Illinois 62830.
