Work continues this week on the Carillon Park in downtown Centralia, as workers with Premier Landscape and Design were hauling in dirt Tuesday morning to fill in around the landscaping that had been planted in the park. Martinez and Sons Fence Co. of Centralia recently finished work on installing fence around the perimeter of the park. Local companies have worked on the park’s redesign throughout the process. The park is open, but landscaping continues as summer rolls around. The overall redesign of the Carillon Park had started in September, with the goal of finishing before the end of 2023, but Centralia Foundation members had said that the weather could force a delay until spring or summer for completion.
