Larry Jordan

Larry Steven Jordan, a devoted family man and loving husband, passed away peacefully at 10:00pm on Saturday, August 3, 2024 at his home, with his loving wife by his side. He was 77 years of age.
Larry was born in Mount Vernon on February 10, 1947, the son of John and Vivian (Stevens) Jordan. He had retired from General Tire, where he spent more than sixteen years.
Larry’s greatest joy was spending time with his loved ones, and he cherished every moment with his family. He was a kind and caring man who always put others before himself. In his free time, Larry enjoyed outdoor activities such as fishing and target shooting. He was also a skilled craftsman, taking great pride in making rings and collecting knives.
Larry is survived by his best friend and wife, Charlotte (Huffstutler) Jordan, whom he loved dearly. Together, they shared a beautiful life filled with love, laughter, and adventure. Larry’s legacy will live on through the countless lives he touched and the memories he created with his family.
Larry is also survived by his six children- Jason Jordan, Jeremy Jordan, Heidi (Rob) Tomshack, Karen (Jon) Miller, Kelly (Jimmy) Pigg, and Kasey Jordan; and several grandchildren, nieces, nephews, step-children, step-grandchildren, and his dear sister- Carol Clark.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife- Delores Jordan, his son- Larry Jordan, and his daughter- Candie Jordan.
Larry’s loving heart and unwavering devotion to his family will never be forgotten. His love and legacy will live on in the hearts and memories of his loved ones, and he will be missed every day. Although there will be no funeral services at this time, please take comfort in the memories of Larry and the impact he had on those he loved.
