TRENTON — Families can kick off the holiday season with a magical evening at Light Brite Distributing from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 5, when Santa Claus will make his annual appearance.
The event will transform Light Brite’s 15,000-square-foot showroom into a winter wonderland, complete with festive decorations and over 70 fireplaces, providing a cozy backdrop for Christmas photos. Families are encouraged to bring their cameras to capture special moments with Santa in this enchanting setting.
“We’ve been hosting this event for several years, and it’s become a favorite in the community,” said Stephanie Tonnies, a representative for Light Brite. “Our expanded showroom provides the perfect setting for holiday fun, with twinkling lights and plenty of space for families to enjoy the evening.”
The showroom, which underwent significant renovations in recent years, showcases fireplaces, lighting and custom woodworking displays. “You can’t tell how large Light Brite is from the road, until you walk inside and see 15,000 square feet of fireplaces and lighting,” Tonnies added. “It’s really a sight to see and it makes for an incredible holiday experience.”
Children attending the event will have the chance to write letters to Santa and send them to the North Pole, create crafts to take home and enjoy milk and cookies. Each child will also receive a treat bag from Santa.
Light Brite Distributing, a family-owned business founded in 1975 by Rich and Mary Klein, and now managed by their son Todd, specializes in residential and commercial lighting, fireplaces, custom woodworking and outdoor living spaces and is located at 475 E. Broadway in Trenton.
The event is free and open to the public.
