Housing Authority meeting
MOUNT VERNON — The regular monthly meeting of the Board of Commissioners of the Housing Authority of Jefferson County will be held at 8 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 19, at 109 Shiloh Dr. in Mount Vernon.

MOUNT VERNON — The Jefferson County Board of Health will hold its next meeting at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 18, at the Jefferson County Health Department in Mount Vernon.

MOUNT VERNON — A report made at 2:36 a.m. Thursday stated that someone may have been shot at while in their driveway in the 400 block of South 18th Street. No injuries were reported in the incident logs.

MOUNT VERNON — A report made at 12:08 p.m. Wednesday stated that a possible sexual assault occurred in Mount Vernon. The specific location of the assault was not mentioned in the incident logs.
Vehicle crash
MOUNT VERNON — A report made at 12:01 p.m. Wednesday stated that a two-vehicle crash occurred in the 100 block of South 45th Street. One person was taken to a local hospital and two people declined medical treatment, incident logs state.
