MARION COUNTY — The 40th annual Marion County Rabies Clinics, conducted by Dr. A.J. Sprague, will be held throughout the county beginning on Saturday, May 10.
These clinics provide pet owners living in the county an opportunity to comply with the state law requiring the immunizations of dogs and cats four months of age and older.
One-year rabies vaccines will be $15. Three-year rabies vaccines will be $40. Microchips will be available for $25.
All other vaccines will be available at discounted rates. Marion County rabies tags will be available for purchase at each rabies clinic.
The rabies clinics schedule for this year is as follows:
Saturday, May 10
• Kinmundy City Park, from 10 to 11:30 a.m.
• Salem Evergreen Christian Church, from noon to 1:30 p.m.
• Iuka Village Hall, from 2 to 3:30 p.m.
Saturday, May 17
• Odin Village Hall, from 10 to 11:30 a.m.
• Sandoval Village Hall, from noon to 1:30 p.m.
• Central City Lions Park, from 2 to 3:30 p.m.
This schedule will be followed regardless of weather conditions. Please have your dogs leashed and your cats in a pet carrier.
