MOUNT VERNON — A generous gift from the Auxiliary to the SSM Health Foundation – Southern Illinois has provided four high-end workstations on wheels for the SSM Health Good Samaritan Hospital Emergency Department.
Each workstation, valued at $7,000, enables mobile charting and supports clinicians in delivering care in the fast-paced environment of the Emergency Department, states an SSM Health news release.
“We are incredibly grateful for this gift from the Foundation. These workstations have made a tremendous difference for our team, allowing us to stay mobile, efficient, and focused on patient care,” said Lori Scott, Emergency Department Director at SSM Health Good Samaritan Hospital. “Their support means we can provide the best possible experience for every person who walks through our doors.”
Thanks to the generosity of its donors, SSM Health Foundation – Southern Illinois continues its commitment to advancing healthcare and ensuring that caregivers have the tools they need to provide exceptional service to communities in Southern Illinois, the release states.
