I-64 ramp closures planned
WOODLAWN — The eastbound Woodlawn exit/entrance ramps on Interstate 64 are tentatively scheduled to be closed for construction starting at 5 a.m. on Oct. 6. The ramps are scheduled to re-open at 5 p.m. on Oct. 17, according to the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office.
Aggravated assault
MOUNT VERNON — Gregory Graham, 41, of Mount Vernon, was arrested at 3:33 a.m. Friday on charges of aggravated assault, aggravated battery to a peace officer and resisting or obstructing a peace officer.
Burglary report
MOUNT VERNON — A report made at 12:20 a.m. Friday stated that a property was burglarized and a trailer was stolen in the 200 block of Main Street.
Theft report
MOUNT VERNON — A report made at 11:44 p.m. Thursday stated that a phone and a vape were stolen in the 1400 block of South 13th Street.
DUI arrest
MOUNT VERNON — Keshawn Harris, 39, of Mount Vernon, was arrested at 11:43 p.m. Thursday on a charge of driving under the influence of alcohol.
Warrant arrest
MOUNT VERNON — Darius Brown, 29, of Mount Vernon, was arrested at 9:27 p.m. Thursday on a warrant. Jail logs did not specify the crime alleged in the warrant.

BLUFORD — A report made at 4:47 p.m. Thursday stated that a two-vehicle crash occurred near East Illinois Highway 15 and North Markham Lane. Two people were taken to a local hospital for treatment, incident logs state.

MOUNT VERNON — A report made at 4:37 p.m. Thursday stated that an air-conditioning unit was on fire in the 4200 block of Rose Lane.
Vehicle crash
MOUNT VERNON — A report made at 3:59 p.m. Thursday stated that a vehicle crash occurred near North 44th Street and Broadway. Two people declined medical treatment, incident logs state.
