MARION COUNTY — The Marion County Health Department is now offering adult walk-in flu vaccination clinics at the offices in both Salem and Centralia. The walk-in clinics are held Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Salem office and Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Centralia office (if a nurse is available).
The Marion County Health Department will also be offering the pediatric flu vaccine to children ages six months to 17 years old by appointment only at immunization clinics held on Mondays at the Salem office and on Wednesdays at the Centralia office. No walk-ins will be allowed.
The high-dose flu vaccine is for those individuals that are 65 years and older. The high-dose flu vaccination fee is $90. MCHD does accept Medicare Part B and most private insurance plans.
The regular flu vaccination fee is $55. MCHD does accept managed care plans, Medicare Part B and most private insurance plans.
